Former junior hockey players can file abuse claims until April
The Ontario Superior Court has approved an opt-in process for former OHL and WHL players who allege they suffered abuse, hazing and bullying during their major junior hockey careers. Claims dating back to 1975 will be accepted until next April. The CHL says it takes player safety seriously but is not commenting on specific allegations while the matter remains before the courts.
