The Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer will host its 7th annual Gold Soiree in Sudbury on Sept. 26. The fundraiser features Jay Lane, a Tom Petty tribute band, and homages to young patients. The proceeds from the event support 27 programs that aid more than 400 families. Organizers are looking for auction items, social media shares and ticket buyers.
