Two southern Ontario fishermen have been fined for illegally catching walleye during the closed season on the Black Sturgeon River near Nipigon. One fled from conservation officers but was located with help from the OPP. The pair's fines were more than $4,000, with one angler receiving a lifetime fishing ban.
