Rideshare giant Uber arrives in Sudbury, 78 other northern towns
Uber has officially launched in 79 communities across northeastern Ontario, becoming the first rideshare operator to go live under the province's new one-year pilot framework. The service is now available along the Northlander corridor from Gravenhurst to Cochrane. Uber says ride availability depends on the number of active drivers in each community.
