Parry Sound's new megaschool is set to fully open this fall. Its elementary section will be named after Francis Pegahmagabow, a highly decorated First World War sniper and Indigenous rights activist. Pegahmagabow was also a former chief of Wasauksing First Nation, which is now a learning partner with the school.
