'That Summer,' a dramedy directed by Sudbury's Darby Kay, begins filming in Coleman Township on Aug. 21. The indie short follows six friends at a cottage. The script, adapted from B.C. for northern Ontario, features Indigenous, BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ arcs. Festival submissions are planned post-production.
