Ontario Forest Fires has reported two new wildland fires in the northeast region, bringing the total number of active fires in the area to 44. The new blazes, Sudbury 47 and Sudbury 48, are located northwest of Telephone Lake and Moose Lake respectively, and both are classified as being held.
