Sudbury's first Yuk Yuk's True North Comedy Festival runs Oct. 1-3 with 15 comedians, including headliners Martha Chaves, Sean Collins and Derek Edwards. Rising Northern Ontario acts will compete for a $1,000 audience-voted prize. Organizers say laughs are needed now and tickets are selling fast.
