Sudbury native and former NHL player Ron Dugay remains in hospital after fainting on July 24. His family announced in February that the hockey legend is battling Stage 4 colon cancer. His daughter, Shay Thomas, said the cancer has spread to his liver and he now also suffers from a bleeding stomach ulcer. Dugay played for the Sudbury Wolves before being drafted to the NHL.
