Heavy rain flooded parts of North Bay on Monday night, overwhelming city sewers and spilling treatment tanks. Property owners have reported sewer backups, though the full extent of private damage remains unknown. The North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority said 40 to 60 millimetres fell in the affected area.
