Police on Manitoulin Island are urging residents of Sheshegwaning First Nation to shelter in place Tuesday evening. Officers are responding to an active incident on Balsam Street, according to a joint statement from UCCM Anishnaabe police and the OPP. Nearby residents are being told to stay indoors and secure all doors and windows. Further details have not yet been released.
