No new fires were reported in northern Ontario in the last 24 hours, but 172 active blazes continue to burn. The Ministry of Natural Resources says 134 are in the northwest and 31 remain out of control. Out-of-province crews and aircraft have arrived to help; more than 1,800 people have been forced from their homes and the season has already become the worst on record. Angela Gemmill reports.
