Health Sciences North hosted its first-ever Pride Pancake Breakfast on Thursday, drawing dozens of staff and community members to celebrate Sudbury's Pride Week. Inspired by his time in Alberta, Dr. Andrew Pearce spearheaded the event, which saw Mayor Paul Lefebvre and MPP Jamie West flip pancakes alongside hospital leadership. Following the meal, volunteers refreshed the Pride crosswalk outside the hospital. Organizers said they now plan to make the breakfast an annual tradition. Amanda Hicks has more.
