The Cochrane District Services Board has launched a down payment program offering eligible buyers a forgivable loan of up to 10 per cent. It targets incomes under $141,000 and homes up to $302,000, with priority for social housing tenants. Funding of $184,000 will help 8 to 10 buyers. Lydia Chubak reports.
