Uber is expanding to northern Ontario this summer, serving North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins and more than 75 other communities. The company was approved under a provincial pilot program that sets consistent safety standards for the service. Local leaders welcomed the move, citing a lack of transit options in many towns.
