The Ontario government is providing Greater Sudbury with nearly $1.3 million through the Building Faster Fund to upgrade sewer infrastructure in the city's south end. The funding will unlock development of new multiplexes and affordable apartments on Long Lake Road, after the city exceeded its 2025 housing target by building more than 433 homes against a goal of 380.
