Sudbury city councillor seeks affordable housing review
Greater Sudbury city councillor Mike Parent is asking staff to review gaps in the city's affordable housing supply amid rapid growth. Parent wants an update on progress toward the 800-unit homelessness target and whether it remains adequate. His motion also directs staff to explore options for city-led building and upper-level government funding. The motion goes to council Tuesday and needs majority support to pass.
