Ontario raises highway speed limits to 110 km/h on most provincial routes, citing improved travel times for families and commuters. New sections on Highway 401 and 416 take effect June 26, with more than 938 kilometres raised to 110 now. The province says all future highways will be designed for 110 km/h.
