A 48-year-old man in Sault Ste. Marie faces several charges of an investigation for an incident dating back to Sept. 1. “Police received a report of a break and enter at a business in the 600 block of Queen Street East at around 5:30 a.m.,” police said in a news release Sept. 14. “An investigation revealed the accused broke into the business, causing damage to property, and stole several items.” A man was located on Wellington Street East on Sept 11 and was charged with break and enter, theft, mischief and failure to comply with a probation order. No date has been set for a court date as the man remains in custody.
