Ontario provincial Police say they’re looking for assistance after damage to the gate at the Massey Agricultural Fairgrounds Oct. 13. According to police, damage occurred at gate 1 of the fairgrounds sometime between 12:00 a.m. Oct. 12 and 5:15 p.m. Oct. 13 where the gate was forced open and hinges were torn off, police said in a news release. Damage is estimated at approximately $2,000, police said. “Investigators also located what are believed to be pickup truck tire tracks in the grass near the damaged gate.” Police are asking those who were in the area between Oct.12 and Oct. 13 who may have surveillance, security, or dash camera footage to review recordings and contact the Manitoulin OPP.
