An investigation by Thunder Bay police stemming from an incident Sept. 18 has led to several charges against a young offender. Officers were called to a business in the Fort William Road area in response to a report of an assault, police said in a news release Tuesday. A suspect was later found in the Isabella Street area and a search of the suspect led to the seizure of an edged weapon. A 15-year-old has been charged with two counts of assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon. The accused was remanded into custody following their first court appearance.
