Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a collision involving a black SUV and a pedestrian in Elliot Lake over the weekend. The crash occurred at the intersection of Esten Drive South and Stewart Crescent on the afternoon of Oct. 10. “The male driver stopped briefly to check on the female pedestrian, but then fled,” provincial police said in a social media post. Suspect vehicle Police describe the vehicle involved as a black SUV, “possibly a Volkswagen Tiguan.” OPP have released a video showing the black sport utility vehicle driving in the community, along with a surveillance image.
