An Ontario Provincial Police investigation into two break-and-enters at a seasonal property on Highway 11 south of Temagami has led the service to ask the public for help solving the case. The break-and-enters occurred between July 12 and Sept. 22. Police said in a news release Tuesday that multiple buildings were entered and several items were stolen. The items stolen include a vintage .22 calibre rifle, a Winchester 30-30 lever-action rifle, several canoes and aluminum boats, multiple Johnson outboard motors, a Mercury outboard motor, a Honda generator and a Stihl chainsaw. Police are asking anyone with information on these thefts to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers using reference number E261163884.
