Seven Kenora area residents are facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in the District of Kenora. Ontario Provincial Police said during the summer of 2026, members from various teams commenced an investigation into the illicit trafficking of controlled substances occurring in the downtown core of the City of Kenora. On Oct. 6, OPP, with assistance from the Treaty Three Police Service, arrested two individuals and a subsequent search warrant was executed in the city. The other five accused were arrested later on Oct. 6 and 7. “As a result of the investigation, police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, hydromorphone, a replica firearm, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia,” OPP said in a news release Friday. 21 charges laid As a result of the investigation, the seven accused face the following charges: The accused are all scheduled to appear at the Kenora Courthouse at a later date.
