A simulated crime scene, complete with fake guns, will be part of a film production today in North Bay. Police in the city are advising residents that filming will take place from noon until 9 p.m. Aug. 19 on Terrace Lawn Drive between Ski Club Road and O’Brien Street. The road will be closed to all but local traffic during those times. “During filming, members of the public may notice simulated violence, a simulated crime scene and individuals carrying replica firearms,” police said. “These items are being used as part of the production and do not pose a threat to public safety. (Police are) aware of the filming and appropriate safety measures will be in place throughout the production.”
