A 21-year-old man is facing multiple child-luring charges following a joint investigation by police in Greater Sudbury and Ottawa. The Greater Sudbury Police Service’s internet child exploitation unit, working alongside the Ottawa Police Service’s internet child exploitation and digital forensic units, executed a search warrant in Nepean, Ont., on Aug. 21. Charges laid The accused was arrested and charged with two counts of luring a child under 16 and one count of luring a child under 18. “The 21-year-old male appeared in bail court on Aug. 21 to answer to the charges,” said Sudbury police in a news release Thursday.
