Sudbury police say no foul play is suspected after the body of a 24-year-old man was found at the old hospital on Paris Street last weekend. Officers were sent to investigate a sudden death at the vacant property around 4:45 p.m. May 17, police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn told CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca in an email Wednesday morning. “Information provided was that an individual had located a deceased person on the property,” Dunn said. Firefighters and paramedics were also sent to the scene, which bears Canada’s largest mural, where the man was confirmed to be dead. “As there is no suspicion of criminality or foul play, this is a coroner’s investigation,” Dunn said. “A post-mortem is being conducted through the coroner’s office to assist in confirming the cause of death.”
