Amanda Pride

Amanda Pride-Beagan is the Editorial Producer at CTV News Northern Ontario. Amanda has been a part of the Sudbury media since 2007 but has worked in the television industry for more than 20 years. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Media Production program (formerly Radio and Television Arts), Amanda has worked both on and off camera in news and sports reporting, live sports, series production, and more. Some dedicated Wolves fans will remember her covering Wolves Hockey for about a decade before she moved into producing and management. After nearly 10 years as Eastlink Community TV’s Ontario manager, Amanda joined the CTV News Northern Ontario team in June 2025. When she’s not working, she’s likely coming up with or creating insane costume ideas to Cosplay at the next Comic Convention, LARP event, or to support her friend’s annual high school play production. As nerdy as she is (her words), she’s a die-hard Montreal Victorie fan, loves watching hockey and figuring skating, and watches the Grey Cup for the football and the Super Bowl for the halftime show.
