PHILADELPHIA - A lawyer says no plea talks are under way on the eve of Tuesday's preliminary hearing in the child sex abuse case that has rocked the U.S. college football world.

Jerry Sandusky's lawyer, Joe Amendola, tells The Associated Press that the former Penn State assistant coach isn't negotiating a plea. Sandusky is charged with more than 50 counts of child sex abuse involving 10 boys he met through the children's charity he founded.

Amendola says Sandusky is eager to hear from the accusers at Tuesday's hearing to consider evidence in the case.

The 67-year-old Sandusky was once the heir apparent to the winningest coach in major college football, Joe Paterno. The scandal has cost Paterno his job.
