It was more studious crowd as an estimated 350 people turned out in Kanata last night to view a proposal to redevelop Lansdowne Park.

It was the second on six public consultations on what has become a controversial plan.

Monday in the Glebe, where the park is located, more than a thousand residents showed up.

Many were very vocal in their disapproval.

The $250-million proposal includes a refurbished football stadium and arena, retail and green space, a hotel, residential development and a CFL football team.

In Kanata last night it was much quieter with those both for and against the plan voicing their opinions.

The next public gathering is tonight at Ottawa City Hall from 6pm to 9pm.
