The Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Saint-Zénon, Que., in the Lanaudière region on April 29 at around 7:30 p.m. It was the first to strike the province in 2025. The NTP reported that the storm had winds of approximately 165 km/h and travelled roughly 6.74 kilometres from east to west. No injuries were reported, but the tornado caused structural damage to houses and barns, and brough down trees. According to the Weather Network, the Saint-Zénon tornado is the first to occur in April in Quebec since 1996.
