A gloomy Friday will pave the way for mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday. However, those in the area can prepare for below-seasonal temperatures to start and a frost advisory. A daytime high of 7 C on Saturday afternoon is expected to drop to a nighttime low of 1 C. Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a frost advisory for the Montreal area this weekend. The weather agency says temperatures will drop to near the freezing mark overnight on Saturday. Conditions will be warmer on Sunday with a high of 16 C. The mercury could then drop to another single-digit low. A temperature of 5 C is forecast for Sunday night. However, the region is expected to hold on to mainly sunny skies all week.
