Sun, cloud and showers for Easter weekend in Montreal

Montrealers will see a mixed back of sun, clouds and showers on the Eastern long weekend.

Sun and clouds are expected to sandwich April showers this long weekend.

On Friday, the Island of Montreal could hit a high of 13 C.

However, those in the area will want to prepare for an 80 per cent chance of showers on Friday afternoon.

The precipitation could amount to roughly 10 millimetres.

The mercury is expected to move down to a low of 9 C Friday night, before Saturday brings more wet weather.

A 60 per cent chance of another 4 millimetres of showers could come with a daytime high of 19 C.

A low of 2 C on Saturday night is expected to lead to a high of 11 C on Sunday, as the weekend ends with sun and clouds.
