Quebec provincial police conducted searches in Pointe-Claire, on Montreal’s West Island, and Rivière-Beaudette, in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges municipality, on Tuesday in connection with alleged drug trafficking offences. The operation, involving 25 officers from multiple departments, came after an earlier operation in Quebec City, targeting a network allegedly operating under the authority of the Hells Angels. Searches of a property in Pointe-Claire and two vehicles resulted in the seizure of: A 41-year-old man from Pointe-Claire was also arrested while driving in Rivière-Beaudette near the Ontario border. He was later released pending the outcome of the investigation. The National Organized Crime Suppression Squad specifically targets leaders of organized crime, including members of the Hells Angels.
