Gunshots were fired early Friday morning in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on the West Island of Montreal. Montreal police (SPVM) told CTV News they received a call around 12:45 a.m. reporting gunshots on Saint-Georges Street near Lamarche Street. When officers arrived, they didn’t find any bullet impacts. Police received another 911 call around 6:30 a.m. from an individual who reported finding bullet impacts. Officers returned to the scene and confirmed the damage. Police say the investigation is ongoing to determine what happened.
