Montreal police (SPVM) intercepted a car that was driving towards pedestrians Saturday night near Angrignon Park. Police received a call around 9 p.m. of reports of gunshots in the park. When they arrived on scene, they saw a car that was driving toward pedestrians on Trinitaires Boulevard. According to Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture, no one was injured. Police tried to stop the vehicle and proceeded to fire shots in the car’s direction. Three men were in the car — two fled the scene and one, an 18-year-old, was still in the car, and he was arrested. Police continue to search for the two individuals that fled the scene.
