An 88-year-old man has died following a road accident on Tuesday at around 4:30 p.m. in Saint-Alfred, in the Beauce region. While riding a three-wheeled motorbike, the man reportedly failed to spot a stationary vehicle on Route 108. According to initial information provided by the Sûreté du Québec, while attempting to swerve to avoid it at the last minute, he veered off the road and collided with an hydro pole. Seriously injured, the man was taken to hospital, where he was eventually pronounced dead. Investigators from the Sûreté du Québec were dispatched to the scene to examine the area.
