The weekend is set to bring summer-like weather for greater Montreal. Clear skies and a low of 12 degrees Celsius on Friday night is expected to lead to sunshine on Saturday. Light clouds could roll in Saturday afternoon, as the mercury moves to a daytime high of 25 degrees Celsius. A warm low of 19 degrees Celsius is then forecast for Saturday night. The weather over the second half of the weekend could be more grim. There is a 70 per cent chance that up to 9 millimetres of showers could fall over the Montreal area on Sunday. There could also be thunder. However, Sunday’s temperatures will be warm. The mercury is expected to hit an above-seasonal high of 24 degrees Celsius. The temperature will then move to a low of 12 degrees Celsius on Sunday night.
