Here are the Montreal road closures for this weekend

If you’re driving in and around Montreal this weekend, you may want to take note of the following road closures:

Route 138 / Honoré-Mercier Bridge

From Saturday at 3 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.

• Between Montreal and Kahnawake, one lane is open in the direction of the South Shore for work by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (PJCCI).

Ville-Marie Tunnel

From Friday at 8 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.

• In Montreal, on the R-136 East, all access points from Notre-Dame Street / de la Cathédrale Street and the A-10 West (Bonaventure) / Robert-Bourassa Boulevard will be completely closed.

Detours:

• From Notre-Dame Street West and de la Cathédrale Street: via Peel Street and Saint-Antoine Street East.
• For trucks: Peel Street and Saint-Antoine Street West, de la Montagne Street South, Notre-Dame Street East, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard and Saint-Antoine Street East.
• From Notre-Dame East Street and Robert-Bourassa Boulevard: Saint-Antoine East Street.

Cavendish Boulevard

From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.

• Mont-Royal: Cavendish Boulevard will be completely closed to northbound traffic at the junction with Dalton Road (southbound).

Detours:

• Dalton Road heading north: de la Côte-de-Liesse Road East, Authier Street and the A-40 West service road.
• A-520 East via Exit 5 (Hickmore Street), Merizzi Street, McArthur Street and Griffith Street.
• A-520 eastbound: Dalton Road heading north and Côte-de-Liesse East Road.

ROUTE 148 / DES BOIS AVENUE / MONTÉE CHAMPAGNE

From Friday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.

• In Laval, on the R-148 (des Bois Avenue) heading west, the left-turn lane is closed at the junction with Montée Champagne.
• In Laval, on the R-148 (des Bois Avenue) heading east, the right-turn lane is closed at the junction with Montée Champagne.

Detours:

• Heading west, continue along the R-148 West, Principale Street, de l’Hôtel-de-Ville Avenue, Saint-Martin Boulevard and Montée Champagne.
• Heading east, take the service road to the A-13 South, continue on the service road to Saint-Martin Boulevard heading west and Montée Champagne.

25 AVENUE AND AUTOROUTE 640

From Friday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.

• In Saint-Eustache, on 25^e Avenue at the A-640 overpass, the road is completely closed in both directions.

Detours:

• Heading south, take the A-640 West service road and make a U-turn at junction 11 (R-148, Arthur-Sauvé Boulevard).
• Heading north via the service roads for the A-640 East and A-13 south, make a U-turn at junction 20, via the R-344 (de la Grande-Côte), take the service road for the A-640 West and exit at junction 14 onto 25^e Avenue.

From Saturday at 6 a.m. to Sunday at 11 p.m.

• In Saint-Eustache on the A-640 in both directions, partial closure of one in two lanes at the 25^e Avenue overpass.

AUTOROUTE 30 / DE L’ACIER

Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In Beauharnois on the A-30 East (de l’Acier) between the R-236 (de l’Énergie) and Saint-Louis Road, there will be a partial closure of one of two lanes at the Saint-Louis River Bridge.

Saint-Patrick Street / Bridge Street

From Saturday at 6 a.m. until Sunday at 8 p.m.

In Montreal (Sud-Ouest borough), the intersection of Saint-Patrick Street and Bridge Street will be completely closed for work by Hydro-Quebec.

Réseau express métropolitain (REM)

• Planned work on the network will result in a delayed start to service on June 20 and 21.

R-340 (de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard) / A-30 service road in Vaudreuil-Dorion

From June 19 until the end of August

• Complete closure of a section of de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard (R-340) and the service road on the A-30 West (de l’Acier) at the junction with the R-340 in Vaudreuil-Dorion for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of the R-340 and de la Gare Boulevard.

A-13 southbound in Laval

From June 19 until the fall

• Construction work on a section of the southbound lanes of the A-13 between Dagenais Boulevard West and the A-440 (Jean-Noël-Lavoie) in Laval will result in traffic diversions and dynamic lane management.

A-15 south in Brossard

From June 22 until the fall

• Resurfacing works on the A-15 south in Brossard between the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge area and the Saint-Jacques River.
• Resurfacing works are also planned on the service roads leading to and from the eastbound A-10 motorway.
