Here are the Montreal-area road closures for the weekend

Montreal drivers should be aware that various construction projects in and around the island will result in road closures.

Planning trips before leaving is advised.

Laurentians Highway (A-15)

• From Friday at 10:30 p.m. to Saturday at 7 a.m. and from Sunday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the Laurentians Highway (A-15) will be closed between the Metropolitan Expressway (A-40) and the entrance from Henri-Bourassa West.
• From Saturday at 7 a.m. to Sunday at 10 p.m., one of three lanes will be closed on the highway between the Metropolitan Expressway (A-40) and the on-ramp from Sauvé Street West.

Metropolitan Expressway (A-40)

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the expressway on-ramp from Saint-Michel Boulevard will be closed.
• In the Saint-Michel and Pie-IX area, from Friday at 10:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., one of three lanes will be closed on the expressway between 8th and 1st avenues.
• Starting Friday at 10 p.m., 2nd Avenue will be closed to northbound traffic under the 40.

De Lorimier Avenue

• On Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., one lane will be open northbound on the avenue and two southbound between De Maisonneuve Boulevard and Logan Street.

Notre-Dame Street East

• From Friday at 8 p.m. to Saturday at noon, one lane will be open in each direction on Notre-Dame-Street between Bourbonnière and Davidson streets.

Victoria Bridge

• Due to ongoing construction on Bridge Street for an as-yet-undetermined period, one lane will be open in each direction on the Victoria Bridge at all times until Bridge Street reopens fully.

Highway 13 / Highway 520 Interchange

• Nighttime closures will be in effect in Montreal on Highway 13 (Chomedey), at the Highway 520 (Côte-de-Liesse) interchange, until Nov. 2, 2026.

Highway 520 (Côte-de-Liesse)

• In Dorval, the Highway 520 west (Côte-de-Liesse) on-ramp from Roméo-Vachon Boulevard heading south will be closed until Thursday, Nov. 11, at midnight.

Highway 10/Route-132 Interchange (Brossard)

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., at Exit 6 of Highway 10 East (R-132, La Prairie, Varennes), one of two lanes will be closed. By default, the ramp leading from Highway 10 East (Eastern Townships) to Route 132 West (toward La Prairie) will be closed.

Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Boulevard (R-116)

• In Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, from Friday at 9 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., on Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Boulevard (R-116), one lane will be open in each direction on the westbound side of the road between Seigneurial West Boulevard and De Boucherville Boulevard.

Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier (R-158)

• In Mirabel, from Friday at 9 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Highway (R-158) will be closed in both directions between the Laurentians Highway (A-15) and Saint-Simon Road.

Jean Lesage Highway (A-20)

• In Boucherville, from Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., the westbound lanes of the highway will be closed between Exit 95 (De Montarville Boulevard) and the next on-ramp.
• From Saturday at 11 p.m. to Sunday at 9 a.m., the eastbound lanes on the highway will be closed between Exit 95 (De Montarville Boulevard) and the next on-ramp.
• From Friday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 9 a.m., and from Saturday at 9 p.m. to Sunday at 9 a.m., one lane will be open in each direction between Exit 109 eastbound at Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil and Exit 113 westbound at Mont-Saint-Hilaire, including the Arthur-Branchaud Bridge in Beloeil.
