A fifth man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 42-year-old man near the Place-Saint-Henri Metro last November. Montreal police said in a news release that 22-year-old Cédric Desroches was arrested and is facing a second-degree murder charge. Nigel Moses, 41, and Leamcharoeung Yort, 48, were arrested in the same case and are facing second-degree murder charges as well. Vincent Gagné-Giard, 30, and Shihab Uddin Pablo Khan, 44, are facing accessory after the fact charges as well. The charges stem from a Nov. 2 fight on Charlebois Street near Saint-Philippe Street in Montreal’s Southwest borough. “Upon arriving at the scene, the police located the victim in a wooded area near the railway line,” the SPVM said. The victim sustained serious upper-body injuries and died later in the hospital. Police are asking anyone with information on the case to visit a neighbourhood police station or call the SPVM Info-Crime line at 514-393-1133.
