After months of uncertainty, it’s a new start for students at FACE Elementary School as they start classes in a different building on Christophe-Colomb Avenue. They had to move because the old building on University Street needs major work. The government scrapped the project after renovation costs ballooned to $375 million. The school board chair says it is still fighting to see that project happen. Meanwhile, high schoolers are still at the University Street campus -- for now. Students who were starting classes in the new building spoke to CTV News about how the move was affecting them. Watch the video above for the full report from CTV News Montreal’s Laurence Brisson Dubreuil.
