Three men have been charged in the stabbing death of a 42-year-old man at the Place-Saint-Henri Metro station last Sunday. Montreal police received a 911 call at around 3:20 a.m. about a fight between two individuals near the intersection of Charlebois and Saint-Philippe streets. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim in a wooded area between the Metro station and the railway tracks with a serious upper-body injury. He was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries. The man’s death marked Montreal’s 29th homicide of the year. Nigel Moses, 40, has been charged with second-degree murder, according to court records. Leamcharoeung Yort, 47, is facing one count of aggravated assault. A third man, 29-year-old Vincent Gagné Giard, is also charged with being an accomplice after the fact to aggravated assault. All three of the accused are scheduled to appear in court on Friday for a bail hearing.
