Three people are in hospital after a vehicle crashed into a building in Longueuil on Montreal’s South Shore. Longueuil police (SPAL) received a 911 call at 10:20 p.m. Monday about the incident in front of 51 Place Charles-Le Moyne. “The driver, a man in his 20s, crashed into the front of the building,” said Mélanie Mercille, a spokesperson with Longueuil police. “He was taken to hospital.” Two passengers, a man and a woman, were also taken to hospital. The man, in his 30s, is in critical condition. A security perimeter has been established to allow reconstructionists and investigators to determine the exact cause of the incident.
