With the names of the 40 athletes having been announced Monday, the swim team is Canada's first to be complete in advance of the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games.

They were selected by Swimming Canada, the governing body of the sport, following the 2015 Can Am Para-swimming Championships held over the weekend.

The team includes 15 Paralympians, including 19-time Paralympic medalist Benoit Huot, 31, of Longueuil, Quebec, and Aurélie Rivard, 18, of Montreal, who won a silver medal in London at the 2012 Paralympic Games.
