After months of anticipation, the iPhone 6 finally arrived in stores all around the world Friday morning.

While some people may just wait to buy them, thousands of people camped out in front of Apple stores to be the first to buy the new product.

In Toronto, the lineup extended most of the way down the hall of the Eaton Centre.

Jack Cooksey – first in line at the store in Perth, Australia – had trouble containing his excitement. Cooksey rushed out of the store and when he was trying to show reporters, he dropped the phone on the ground.

Not to worry, though, the plastic cover was on so the phone is still working.

Cooksey wasn't the only person to drop his phone. California-based phone blogger David Rahimi and his girlfriend Jasmine Juan flew to Australia to line up at Apple's store in Sydney.

They pre-ordered their phones last week and today became the first people in the world to own the iPhone 6. Rahimi dropped their phones – on purpose - to test their durability.
