LONDON - Prince Harry has kicked off his visit to Belize with rum and dancing in Belmopan, the central American nation's capital.

Harry is in Belize as part of a Diamond Jubilee tour in honour of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, who is celebrating 60 years on the throne.

The prince on Friday helped unveil the newly named "Queen Elizabeth II Boulevard," and then attended a block party, where he sampled the local rum and tasted local dishes.

Sporting a traditional Belize shirt, Harry also showed off his dance moves to the delight of the gathered crowd.

Harry will later visit the Bahamas, Jamaica and Brazil as a representative for the Queen.

Most senior royals will be dispatched across the globe to celebrate the aging monarch's Diamond Jubilee.
