ST. JOHN'S, N.L. - Police confirm that a body pulled from the water in southeastern Newfoundland is that of a man who'd been missing for more than a week.
The body of Wayne Peacock, 58, was found today along the shoreline off Upper Gullies.
Peacock was last seen at his residence in the Topsail, N.L., area on March 22.
His pickup truck was later found nearby.
Police say the medical examiner will determine the cause of death at a later date.
The man's disappearance had sparked an extensive search by air, land and sea.
