November 2023: Tara De Boer is no longer with the company
Toronto-based Tara De Boer joined the national editorial team at CTVNews.ca in September 2022 as a writer.
Before joining CTVNews.ca, Tara wrote for Maclean’s digital magazine and Toronto Life, with a special focus on stories about culture, society, entertainment and sports. She also interned as an associate producer for CBC News Network Toronto, where she chased breaking news stories and produced live television news segments.
Tara holds a masters of journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a BA of Honours Arts and Business from the University of Waterloo, with a major in Speech Communication.
She speaks English.
