A B.C. man selling his life and all of his worldly goods on Craigslist is doing so to ‘get back to basics.'

Ryan Daley, 36, from Squamish, B.C. is offering up everything for one million dollars, including his house, his car and even a crash course on his favourite activities.

"It's a great life, the deal is I'm ready for a change," Daley told CTV British Columbia.

Daley is selling a house in the Garibaldi Highlands, just north of Squamish, a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 and a garage filled with tools from his job as a professional cabinet maker and builder.

"They can even have some of my clothes if they fit them," he said.

The home comes with a project studio for art and music, with all existing artwork and music included.

Daley's life also comes with three acres of land in Jordan River on Vancouver Island, where the buyer can design and build a vacation home.

If any potential buyers find it difficult fitting into Daley's life, he's offering a month-long course on being him, including his hobbies and his career.

"I would teach them how to be a carpenter and a cabinet maker," he said. "And I would take them bike riding, surfing and snow boarding."

His brother, Sean Daley, said he thought Ryan was joking when he heard of the million-dollar plan.

"I didn't think there was going to be any response," he said. "Obviously, there has been."

The Craigslist ad went up on Aug. 14 and so far there haven't been any serious offers but there have been several responses from the curious.

One interested poster asked: "Are you interested in a possible trade and partial payment?" Another poster, a man from Calgary, asked, "How much money do you owe? And does your life come with cancer?"

Daley said he's still holding out for that buyer with big pockets and a dream to walk in someone else's shoes.

"My life could be fun and interesting for the right person," he said.
